CLEARWATER, Fla. — A woman was sent to the hospital after a serious house fire Thursday afternoon in Clearwater.
Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to the fire around 12:40 p.m. Little is known at this time regarding how the fire started, but crews say the house, located at 2486 Belleair Road, was left significantly damaged.
The woman was reportedly taken to the hospital "as a precaution," firefighters said. Her condition is unknown.
Right now, investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
