CLEARWATER, Fla. — A 56-year-old man died from his injuries after he was hit by a motorcyclist Sunday evening, according to the Clearwater Police Department.
The crash happened at 9:33 p.m. at Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard and Mercury Avenue.
The man, who police have not yet identified, was crossing Gulf-to-Bay when he was struck by a motorcyclist driving westbound. He was taken to Morton Plant Hospital, where he later died, police said.
The 25-year-old motorcyclist suffered minor injuries and was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, according to Clearwater police.
