CLEARWATER, Fla. -- A red light runner narrowly missed another car in Clearwater, and the whole thing was caught on camera.
The video shows the other vehicle turning the corner just seconds earlier at the intersection of Fort Harrison Avenue and Chestnut Street.
Out of nowhere, the red light runner whizzes into the frame and barely avoids a serious crash.
Police say the law-breaker was driving at 80 mph. For the record, the posted speed limit is 30.
"People who drive like that are a danger to themselves and others," the Clearwater Police Department wrote on Facebook.
Officers said the driver is going to receive a citation by mail.
