CLEARWATER, Fla. — Three people are hurt after a multi-car crash occurred Monday evening in Clearwater, officials say.
Shortly after 7:30 p.m., the Clearwater Police Department and Clearwater Fire and Rescue arrived at the eastbound lanes of the Courtney Campbell Causeway after receiving a report of a crash, the city of Clearwater said in a news release.
Two of the three people hurt in the crash were taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg and the other was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, authorities say. None of the people's injuries are considered to be life-threatening.
As a result of the incident, eastbound lanes at Bayshore Boulevard are closed as police continue to investigate. The westbound lanes of the road will remain open.
