FHP: Woman driving SUV crashes into building in Pinellas County

The woman did not face any injuries during the crash.

KENNETH CITY, Fla — Authorities say a woman driving an SUV crashed into a building Wednesday morning in the Kenneth City area.

The woman reportedly did not suffer any injuries during the crash. 

At 6:35 a.m., the woman in the SUV was heading southbound through the parking lot on 66th Street North "in an erratic manner" as she drove over a raised concrete curb, hit a light pole, ran over another concrete curb, struck an electric control box and then a stop sign, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.

Troopers say the SUV kept on driving recklessly until it crashed into a large concrete support beam connected to a building. 

Sky 10 captured the scene outside the Dedicated Senior Medical Center on 66th Street North in Kenneth City.

The woman reportedly left the scene on foot after the crash. 

Authorities have not yet said if they have found the woman or if she will be facing any charges. 

The investigation of the crash remains ongoing. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call *FHP or Crime Stoppers at **TIPS.
