PINELLAS PARK, Fla. — A bicyclist died from their injuries after they were hit by a car overnight on 66th Street North, police said.
The crash happened just after midnight Sunday in the area of 65th Avenue and 66th Street, according to the Pinellas Park Police Department.
Police say the bicyclist was crossing midblock from east to west when they were hit by a car. The person was taken to an area hospital, where they later died.
The driver of the car remained at the scene of the crash and is cooperating with an investigation, police said. It's expected that no criminal charges will be filed.
