ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Two 15-year-old boys are in critical condition after a boat crash Sunday evening in the bay behind Bayshore Boulevard.
According to the St. Petersburg Police Department, the crash happened just before 6 p.m. in the area of Bayshore Boulevard and Connecticut Avenue.
The two boys were thrown from the boat after it hit the dock.
Officials said after the crash, a bystander jumped into the water and found one of the teens.
Captain Garth Swingle with St. Petersburg Fire Rescue said both boys were taken to Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital.
No further information has been released at this time.
