WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. — An elderly woman is being airlifted to the hospital after she fell off the Macys escalator at the Wiregrass Mall in Wesley Chapel, Pasco County Fire Rescue said.
First responders say the woman is about 70 years old and seriously injured her head.
She is listed as a trauma alert and is being taken to the hospital.
