PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — A man riding a motorcycle was killed Wednesday in Pasco County after a crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

FHP says that a 41-year-old man from Port Richey was riding a Harley Davidson going west on SR-52 shortly before 8 p.m. Meanwhile, a 60-year-old Land 'O Lakes woman was driving an SUV eastbound.

At the intersection of Parkwood Street, the motorcyclist attempted to make a U-turn. In doing so, FHP says he turned into the path of the SUV and was hit.

The man on the motorcycle died at the scene. The SUV driver was not hurt.

Authorities did not identify either driver by name or say if charges could be forthcoming.
