UPDATE: The Pasco County Sheriff's Office says 17-year-old Jacob Bedson has been found and is being "returned to the custody" of the Department of Juvenile Justice.

Pasco County deputies are searching for a 17-year-old who deputies say escaped from the Dept. of Juvenile Justice's Juvenile Detention Center on State Road 52 in Land O’ Lakes.
Investigators say Jacob Bedson jumped a fence and made his getaway.
That was just after 5 p.m. Monday.
Bedson is described as 5-foot-7 with dark blonde hair.
Anyone with information about his location should call 911.
An earlier version of this story listed the teen's name as Robert. The Pasco County Sheriff's Office has since issued a correction, saying the teen's name is actually Jacob.
