PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — Three cats and one dog were killed after a home caught fire in Pasco County, fire rescue said.
It happened Wednesday at a home in Bayonet Point. The fire started in the kitchen but was reportedly put out quickly. The two people who lived in the house were able to escape unharmed.
According to fire rescue, a total of six cats and one dog lived inside the home, too. Three cats made it out alive, but unfortunately, the three others and the dog perished.
The Red Cross is reportedly assisting the family.
