I-75 Pasco County crash

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — Four people are recovering from injuries after a driver lost control of a truck towing a trailer in Pasco County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers say this happened just before 4:30 p.m. Monday when a Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck towing an "improperly" loaded CAT skid steer was heading southbound on Interstate 75 near milepost 284.

The skid steer began to jackknife, causing the driver to lose control of the truck, enter the outside shoulder and hit several trees, FHP said.

FHP shared an image showing the damaged truck with its doors fallen off. The skid steer can be seen sitting idle under tree branches.

All passengers in the Dodge Ram were men from Miami. The 28-year-old driver, a 29-year-old and 66-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries. Another 40-year-old driver suffered serious injuries.
