Missing Pasco County 12-year-old found safe

HOLIDAY, Fla. — Jaylen Lebron was found safe, according to an update from the Pasco County Sheriff's Office on Monday afternoon.

Deputies are asking the public for help to find a missing and endangered 12-year-old believed to have walked away from a Pasco County school Monday morning.

Jaylen Lebron was last seen around 8:35 a.m. near Paul R. Smith Middle School on Sweetbriar Drive, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

It's believed Lebron was heading south on Sweetbriar Drive toward Holiday Lake Drive. Lebron is about 5 feet tall with brown hair and brown eyes.

The school is on a controlled campus status while a search is ongoing, the sheriff's office said.
