Troopers: Man hospitalized with serious injuries after car crashes through his Pasco County house

A car collided with a parked car, which crashed into a house, hitting the man, according to troopers.

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — A 37-year-old man was airlifted to the hospital after a car rammed into a house in Pasco County. 

A woman was driving a Chevy Tahoe southbound on U.S. Highway 41 when she lost control and veered off the road. The car traveled more than 150 feet along the sidewalk and collided with a fence before hitting a Honda Fit parked in a driveway, according to a news release by the Florida Highway Patrol. 

The Honda then went through the house and hit the man, who was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

After the crash, the woman "appeared disoriented," got out of the car and ran away. The witness described her as a white woman, about 5' 7" tall, in her mid-30s with shoulder-length, reddish-blonde hair.
