HOLIDAY, Fla. — A man and a dog died in a house fire in Pasco County on Monday morning, according to Pasco County Fire Rescue.
It happened around 6:30 a.m. at a home on Bowen Street.
The fire, which investigators determined was accidental, was contained to a front bedroom, fire crews explained in a press release. That's where a 60-year-old man was found dead.
A second person was able to escape the home without injury.
Fire crews pulled two dogs from the home, but one did not survive.
