Tierra Verde - Jeff and Leo Froeschle are trying to cope with the death of their daughter, by planning a memorial to remember a woman who brought joy to family and friends.Leo Froeschle, Katie's Mother"She lit up a room, when she came into a room, you noticed her, and you warmed up to her right away. Everybody loved her. I saw her as finally becoming the person she was going to be, and she so much future ahead of her."Katie was last heard from Friday, when the 25-year-old insurance adjuster was ready to inspect a house in Tampa's Sulfur Springs neighborhood for hurricane damage. Her body was found in the Hillsborough River, near that house which is rented by 27-year-old Jason Funk and his girlfriend. When Police investigated, they found 19 marijuana plants, enough to hold Funk behind bars without bond, until DNA tests could potentially link Funk to the killing. In Hillsborough County Court Monday, prosecutors say there may be evidence that Katie Froeschle was killed inside the home she was inspecting. But Judge Walter Heinrich told prosecutors they essentially have until Friday to either arrest Funk on murder charges, or lower Funk's bond on the marijuana possession charges. Tampa Police say they are attempting to expedite the DNA processing. In Tierra Verde, Katie's parents say they are not thinking about Funk, or the murder. They are talking about a bright future for their daughter that was suddenly taken away.Jeff Froeschle, Katie's Father"I can't really begin to describe the pain and the loss. It just comes in terrible waves, and it comes when I think about what she was going to be, and when I last saw her. Its what's been taken from us. Its the future with her that's been taken from us."
