TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Electric is reporting about 4,7011 customers in Hillsborough County are without power as of Friday morning.
The TECO outage map shows neighborhoods in Town ‘N’ Country have the most power outages.
Widespread showers and storms are forecast Friday throughout Tampa Bay. Damaging winds up to 60 mph, lightning and heavy rain are the greatest threats. Waterspouts and tornadoes can't be ruled out, either.
Duke Energy Florida reported only 119 Pinellas County customers without power as of Friday morning.
