Missing endangered adult in Polk County

The Polk County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a 55-year-old woman from Haines City.

Polk County, Florida -- The Polk County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a 55-year-old woman from Haines City.

According to family members, around 10:00 p.m. last evening, Thursday, August 20, Wanda Williams had a verbal altercation with her estranged husband at his house located at 3900 Watkins Road in Haines City. After the incident, Wanda threatened to hurt herself, and then fled the scene in her 2001 grey 2-door Chevrolet Blazer, with FL tag M338HP.

Wanda's whereabouts are unknown at this time. She is described as a white female, 5'6" tall, 130 lbs., with brown eyes and brown hair. She is possibly headed to her hometown of Slocumb, Alabama. She was last seen wearing a red top and blue jeans.
