BRADENTON, Fla. — Bradenton Police are investigating after they found a 16-year-old shot to death while responding to a call just after 1 a.m.
Detectives believe the teen was picked up somewhere within Manatee County earlier in the night and driven to the secluded area where he was shot, police said in a news release.
Law enforcement shut down the Palma Sola Causeway early Saturday morning for several hours while investigating, according to a Facebook post. The road has since reopened as of 5:40 a.m.
