Bicyclist killed in Bradenton hit-and-run, police say

The driver of the vehicle did not stay on scene and police are looking for witnesses with information.

BRADENTON, Fla. — Bradenton police are looking for the driver responsible for hitting and killing a bicyclist with their vehicle on Saturday night.

It happened at 11:35 p.m. in the 1000 block of 14th Street West, which is on the corner of a 7-Eleven at the intersection with Ninth Avenue. Police said a 36-year-old man was riding his bike across 14th Street when he was hit by a vehicle traveling southbound, according to an X post.

The driver didn't remain on scene and investigators are looking for witnesses with information on the make or model of the vehicle.
