Man points BB gun at students waiting for bus

A man was arrested on Oct. 16 after he reportedly pointed a BB gun at students following an incident at a school bus stop that morning.

TAMPA, FLA. -- A man was arrested on Oct. 16 after he reportedly pointed a BB gun at students following an incident at a school bus stop that morning.

Hillsborough Sheriff's deputies say arond 8:30 a.m., Bobby Buice got angry when a juvenile, waiting at a Jennings Middle School bus stop near the 9400 block of Six Mile Creek Road, threw a pencil at his vehicle.

Buice, 48, then armed himself with a BB gun, drove back to the bus stop, pointed it at them, and threatened to shoot them.

The Hillsborough County School Bus arrived at the stop and Buice returned to the location and waited for the students to get on the bus. Patrol deputies and the School Resource deputy responded to the bus stop and interviewed students and the bus driver.

Deputies found his in the area and pulled him over.

Deputies say Buice confessed and was found in possession of a BB gun and cocaine. He was arrested and charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault, Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Paraphernalia.
