Tampa, Florida - 10 News has learned Jill Kelley is teaming up with her neighbor, former Rays manager Joe Maddon, to throw a big Gasparilla party Saturday, Jan. 31 at their homes along Bayshore Blvd in Tampa.
Kelley was known for years to host huge Gasparilla events at her house for military dignitaries, but hasn't since the Nov 2012 David Petraeus scandal.
The guest list for the private affair is being kept a secret for security reasons, but could include Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel who leads the city where Maddon now works.
When reached for comment about the party, Kelley would only confirm she and Maddon are dedicating a table to "the wounded warriors" who she called our nation's heroes.
It's been a busy time for the Tampa mother of three.
In December, she and her family joined a private audience with Pope Francis to discuss the killing of Christians in Syria.
Touched by the international tragedy, Kelley also recently purchased a home in Pakistan for three children whose parents were burned alive for being Christians.
And Kelley is embroiled in a lawsuit with the FBI and Defense Department. She claims they violated her privacy during the investigation into the affair that former CIA Director Petraeus was having with his biographer.
