Tampa Bay Buccanneers quarterback Jameis Winston addresses the media on Thursday, July 26, 2018. It marked the first time he spoke to the media since the NFL announced his three-game suspension.

PHOENIX, Ariz. -- Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Jameis Winston and an Arizona Uber driver have reached a settlement, court documents say.

The driver's attorney, John Clune, filed the documents on Monday. The documents state both parties are in the process of finalizing a settlement agreement. The terms of the settlement are not listed.

Winston was accused by the driver, identified as "Kate P.", of sexually assaulting her after she picked him up March 13, 2016, at the International Club in Scottsdale. Winston was reportedly with several other men when the driver accused him of groping her.

The driver said she reported the incident to Uber, which then banned Winston from the ride-sharing service. Kate P. sued Winston over the incident in September 2018. The suit is for at least $75,000 in damages.

The Bucs quarterback also confirmed in June that he was suspended for the first three games of the next season.
