TAMPA, Fla. — A woman drowned in a swimming pool at a home in Tampa's Greater Carrollwood area, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies said they were called around 10 p.m. Sunday to a home on Golf Crest Circle near Golf Crest Terrace about a possible drowning. According to Google Maps, the house appears to be within the Golf Crest at Carrollwood Village neighborhood.
When they arrived, deputies said they found a woman dead in a pool.
The sheriff's office said deputies don't believe the woman's death is suspicious. The woman's identity has not been released.
The agency has not provided additional details at this time.
