TAMPA, Fla. — As the Tampa Bay area recovers and rebuilds after Hurricane Milton, the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections is offering a vote-by-mail option for displaced residents.
According to a press release from the elections office, displaced locals can request their ballot through the following methods:
- A ballot can be mailed to a new address by calling the elections office at (813)-612-4180;
- If voters are unable to call, a vote-by-mail ballot can be picked up in person at one of the elections offices;
- Send an email to VoteByMail@VoteHillsborough.gov requesting a ballot to a new address.
To make the request, voters must include their Florida driver's license, state ID number or the last four digits of their social security number.
