TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa Police have made an arrest after they got reports of a suspect who was in the area with a gun.
Officers responded to the 900 block of West Sligh Avenue just after 2 p.m., but when they got there, the suspect had taken off. Details at this time are limited, though the Tampa Police Department confirmed the arrest just before 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
The investigation had prompted closures at West Sligh Avenue between North Boulevard and North Willow Avenue. As of 5:00 p.m., the roads have officially reopened.
