TAMPA, Fla. — The Tampa Police Department is investigating a crash that left one person dead Friday night, a news release explains.
The deadly crash happened at the Northbound Memorial ramp from the Tampa International Airport. Officers responded to the scene at 9:53 p.m. where they found a motorcyclist with serious injuries.
Lifesaving measures were performed, and they were taken to a local hospital where they later died from their injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
