HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — A man is dead after a stabbing in Hillsborough County, which authorities said took place after an argument between a postal worker and lawn care professional.
Deputies from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office responded to the stabbing around 1 p.m. Tuesday off of Tanagerlake Road in Fish Hawk. After arriving at the scene, law enforcement officials reportedly found lawn care worker Jacob Whitaker, 29, with upper body trauma.
Whitaker was pronounced dead at the scene, deputies say.
According to HCSO, the argument between the two men was over a car's parking position on the street.
As of Wednesday, Oct. 23, the sheriff's office said no charges have been filed.
An investigation is ongoing.
