TAMPA, Fla. — At least one person is dead after a crash on Saturday afternoon in Tampa, authorities say.
The accident, in the 1100 block of West Sligh Avenue, involved a motorcycle and SUV, the Tampa Police Department said in a news release.
Both the westbound and eastbound lanes of Sligh Avenue were initially closed due to the crash but they have since been reopened, police said in an update.
The investigation remains ongoing, police say.
