TAMPA, Fla. — An elementary school in Tampa is in a "lock-in" status due to a large police presence nearby.
Police have not released information, but a spokesperson with Hillsborough County Schools confirmed that Potter Elementary School, located off East Osborne Avenue, has been put on "lock-in."
Police do not appear to be at the school but rather a few streets down. 10 Tampa Bay has a crew at the scene, off East Osborne Avenue on Courtland Street.
