TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa police said a man was shot and killed in his home early Saturday morning.
Officers said the man’s roommate heard noises in the house and went to see what was going on. When the roommate got to the home’s living space, he told officers he saw a stranger in the room and the victim laying on his back, police said.
The suspect left the house before officers arrived, investigators said.
The victim was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Officers said the shooting didn’t look like it was random.
