TAMPA, Fla. — A newly renovated affordable housing complex has officially opened in Tampa, just a short distance away from Busch Gardens.
Armature Place Apartments, located at 4131 East Busch Boulevard, offers 96 units for "residents making 80% or less of Area Median Income," according to a Hillsborough County press release.
The county said it contributed nearly $16 million in funding from the American Rescue Plan Act to help the Corporation to Develop Communities of Tampa purchase and rehabilitate the apartment building over the past year.
One- and two-bedroom units are currently listed on their website, which range from 550-1000 square feet. The units all have refreshed countertops, flooring, cabinets and appliances.
Outside of the apartment building, residents can find a swimming pool and a new racquetball court.
Those interested in learning more about the building can do so by going to the Armature Place Apartments website.
