TAMPA, Fla. — A homicide investigation is underway after police said a man was stabbed at a home in Tampa on Friday.
Just before 4 a.m., the Tampa Police Department responded to reports of a physical altercation at a house off of Mandarine Place. Once officers arrived, they reportedly found the man with stab wounds.
The man was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries, the agency said.
During an initial investigation, police found that the man got into a "dispute" with someone else inside the home who he knew.
Authorities said the other person involved in the incident is cooperating with the investigation.
