BLOOMINGDALE, Fla. — A man died after being shot overnight during a domestic situation, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies responded just after midnight Monday to a home on Polumbo Drive following a report of a deceased person, according to an agency news release.
Upon arrival, deputies found a man with upper body trauma.
The sheriff's office confirmed this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public. An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
