GIBSONTON, Fla. — A family is displaced after their home was destroyed in a fire that started Sunday night and continued into early Monday morning.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to the call just after 11 p.m. at the two-story house on Kracker Avenue in Gibsonton. Callers also reported explosions inside the house.
Firefighters were able to get the blaze under control within an hour and there were no injuries to civilians or firefighters. Crews are working to determine the cause while the American Red Cross is assisting the family.
