TAMPA, Fla. — Arrrrrgh you ready for Gasparilla, Tampa Bay?!
Well, if you're here, you must be! Gasparilla 2025 may still be a couple of months away, but it's never too early to start brushing up on your pirate lingo and putting together that perfect pirate outfit.
Here's some early information on Gasparilla 2025:
When is Gasparilla?
The Ashley Children's Gasparilla Parade will be on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025 with events starting from 12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The Seminole Hard Rock Gasparilla Pirate Fest will be on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025 with events starting from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Children's Gasparilla Parade
The 2025 Gasparilla Children's Parade is a free event that will include a bicycle & pedestrian safety rodeo, a Gasparilla air invasion and the Gasparilla preschooler's stroll before the parade begins at 4 p.m.
As always, the parade will extend from Bay to Bay Boulevard to Edison Avenue. Click or tap here for a parade map.
Following the parade, there will be a nighttime Gasparilla air invasion and a "piratechnic finale."
Gasparilla Pirate Fest
The 2025 Gasparilla parade is just one of many adventures pirates across the Tampa Bay region can partake in.
Starting at 11:30 a.m., the Gasparilla invasion will begin as the captain of Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla makes his final demand for the key to the city.
At 2 p.m., the parade will get underway as pirates march down Bayshore Boulevard. The parade signifies victory over the pirates trying to claim the city.
Throughout the day, you can enjoy live music and entertainment before and after the parade at Curtis Hixon Park for Gasparilla Pirate Fest.
