Gas line rupture causes traffic delays in Tampa Heights

The northbound lanes of N. Boulevard were closed while hazmat crews responded.

TAMPA, Fla. — A gas line rupture is impacting traffic Friday evening in Tampa Heights.

According to Tampa Fire Rescue, the line ruptured at W. Euclid and N. Massachusetts avenues.

While hazmat teams responded to the gas leak, northbound lanes of N. Boulevard were closed between W. Columbus Avenue and W. West Street. The road has since reopened.
