Missing 3-year-old Hillsborough County boy found safe

Deputies said Zeppelin Bell's father, Kelley, took him during a supervised visit on Feb. 12.

LITHIA, Fla. — A missing 3-year-old who prompted a statewide Missing Child Alert on Tuesday has been found, authorities said. 

Zeppelin Bell is safe, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. 

It's not immediately clear how the boy was located.

Authorities earlier said Bell was last seen in the area of Pritcher Road and Pritcher Manor Court in Lithia. 

Hillsborough County deputies say Zeppelin's father, Kelley Bell, took the boy during a supervised visit on Feb. 12. The two were said to possibly be traveling to New Mexico, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
