TAMPA, Fla. — A Pasco County ambulance ended up in a crash on Sunday because of the roads on Interstate 275 being wet, a news release from the Florida Highway Patrol explains.

The ambulance was traveling southbound on I-275 in Hillsborough County when the crash happened at 4:43 p.m. While driving just north of Fletcher Avenue, the vehicle reportedly hydroplaned on the wet roadway.

The ambulance spun out to the center median and collided with a concrete barrier wall.

According to FHP, no one was hurt in the crash. There were two patients inside the ambulance being transported to the hospital when the incident happened.

They were taken by another ambulance to an area hospital, the agency explains.
