HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — A work crew found a man dead inside a car along the shoulder of Interstate 75 weeks after he was killed in a crash, Florida Highway Patrol troopers said.
FHP released information on Monday afternoon that the crew located a Mazda Miata convertible on the west shoulder of I-75 near milepost 252. According to troopers, the crash appears to have happened sometime over the past few weeks.
However, the exact date and time isn't known at this time. The man was the only person inside the car when it was found and appeared to have died as a result of the crash.
He has not been identified, troopers said.
