HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — A former camp counselor faces multiple charges after the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) says he engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct with a 9-year-old.
According to HCSO, Angelo Lombay was a counselor at the Code Ninjas camp when he was 16. The camp, which was located on Sheldon Road in Tampa, is now closed.
Officials say Lombay, now 18, confessed to his actions following the investigation and an interview with HCSO. He was arrested Friday without incident.
Lombay is charged with two counts of lewd or lascivious molestation and one count of sexual battery.
