HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla — A section of Highway 60 near Brandon Mall was closed Friday due to a natural gas leak, according to a news release.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue said the leak was at the corner of Pauls Drive and Brandon Boulevard.
All eastbound traffic on Brandon Boulevard is being redirected to Hilltop Road. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said the eastbound lanes of Highway 60 are currently closed and the road closures are expected to last several hours.
There are no reported injuries and no evacuations in order.
