TAMPA, Fla. — A bomb threat reported at the University of South Florida's Tampa campus has been resolved hours after police clashed with pro-Palestinian protesters.
The university posted an emergency notification to its website at 10:57 p.m. that reads, "Urgent Alert. Reported bomb threat in the area of Cooper Hall."
At 11:32 p.m., a follow-up alert said, "The reported bomb threat at Cooper Hall has been resolved. No ongoing threat to campus. Resume normal activities."
Students were asked to avoid the area of Cooper Hall while emergency personnel investigated.
