TAMPA, Fla. — Police are investigating a woman's death after her body was found Tuesday afternoon in Tampa.
At around 2:15 p.m., authorities arrived at the 900 block of West Cypress Street, near Julian B. Lane Park, after receiving a report regarding a dead person, the Tampa Police Department said in a news release.
The woman's body was reportedly found with upper body trauma, and police are describing her death as "suspicious."
Investigators say they are still working to determine the cause of death.
