TAMPA, Fla. — Police say they found a second body within as many days off the Courtney Campbell Causeway in Tampa.
Just before 10 a.m. Tuesday, police say they were called the causeway after getting a report of an "unresponsive individual." When officers arrived, they found a man dead with "no obvious signs of trauma."
Police say they are working to identify the man and what caused his death.
Detectives say they are working to determine if this man's death is connected to a similar investigation that began Sunday evening.
That started around 6 p.m. Sunday after police got a call of an unresponsive person in the water off the south side of the Courtney Campbell Causeway. When officers arrived, they found a man, believed to be in his mid-teens, dead.
That man's identity is also unknown at this time.
