TAMPA, Fla. -- Amalie Arena has moved the pick-up locations for people using Uber, Lyft and other ride-hailing companies.
The new pick-up locations are at the Tampa Convention Center and the Florida Aquarium instead of in front of the arena, according to a news release.
The convention center is recommended for those going north or west, and cars will line up to meet riders at the corner of Ashley Drive and Channelside Drive.
The aquarium is recommended for those going north or east. Cars will line up to meet riders at the circular "turn-around" in front of the aquarium's entrance.
The arena notes the changes are for ride-hailing pick-up locations only. The drop off locations for those taking Uber, Lyft and other companies are still at the arena drop-off circle on the north side of Amalie Arena.
