SEBRING, Fla. — Firefighters in Highlands County spent Saturday battling a brush fire in Sebring.
According to fire rescue, multiple units responded to the fire located in the area of Lakewood Road. With the assistance of the Highlands County Sheriff's Office and Florida Forest Service, firefighters say they were able to put out the blaze.
Fire rescue says losses are estimated at around $8,000.
No injuries have been reported.
