FHP: 2 Spring Hill teens killed in single-vehicle crash

FHP said the two teens killed, 17 and 16, were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

SPRING HILL, Fla. — Two teens are dead after the car they were in went off the road, overturned and collided with a tree Saturday night in Spring Hill, Florida Highway Patrol said.

The crash happened a little after 11 p.m. when a 17-year-old driving a Toyota Camry south on Mariner Boulevard, north of Santee Street, went off the road into someone's yard, overturned, and collided with a tree.

FHP said the two teens killed, 17 and 16, were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. Two other teens, also not wearing seatbelts, were seriously hurt. 

The driver and another teen inside the car were not injured.
