SPRING HILL, Fla. — The Hernando County Sheriff's Office urged people Friday morning to avoid an area in Spring Hill due to "increased law enforcement presence."
The situation has since been "resolved," deputies said just before 9 a.m. No other details are being released at this time, the sheriff's office added.
Deputies said the increased presence was in the area of Fillmore Street south of Veterans Park. The sheriff's office said deputies were "assisting other law enforcement agencies."
The agency added there was no immediate threat to the community.
