Man dies after crashing his car into house in Spring Hill

Those living inside the home weren't injured, but FHP troopers said the home suffered an estimated $10,000 in damages.

SPRING HILL, Fla. — A 69-year-old man is dead after he reportedly crashed his car into a house Monday in Spring Hill.

Florida Highway Patrol said around 6:45 p.m., the man was traveling north on Arrowhead Avenue before suffering a medical emergency and losing control of his car.

The car reportedly left the road before hitting a stop sign, a fence and then the house on 7279 Greenleaf Lane.

The man died from his injuries after he was taken to the hospital. The passenger, a 68-year-old woman from Spring Hill, wasn't injured in the crash, troopers said.
